WHAT IS VENTURE CAPITAL NETWORK ("VCN")?

An informal network of businesses and persons interested in assisting to raise venture capital for unlisted companies including:

• financial advisers;
• corporate and capital raising consultants;
• wholesale investors (pooled development funds, other funds, business angels and investors of substance);
  
• retail investors (not all presentations will be suitable for retail investors);
  
• accountants and lawyers;
  
• and unlisted companies looking for venture capital.

WHAT IS VENTURE CAPITAL?

The network is concerned with unlisted businesses requiring minority investors, including:

• established businesses in need of development capital;
• small, fast growing, well managed businesses in need of working capital;
• businesses with excellent technology requiring seed or start-up capital.

HOW WILL THE NETWORK OPERATE?

The principal purpose of the network is to:

• network companies seeking funds with those who can provide those funds;
• hold seminars on venture capital topics.
